I've started that bag. I found the directions a bit confusing (I'm fairly new to sewing and need pictures/diagrams) so I put it away for awhile. I just might take it back out and try to finish it up.

Let me know if you do it!

OK, you inspired me to finish the bag! It wasn't as hard as I thought, I just had to take my time reading the directions. I totally messed up the placement of the velcro, still don't know why. I've reread the directions a gazillion times and still can't figure it out, but I made it work. If I knew how to post a picture I would! I think I will try to make another bag, but I'd like it to be about 1 more inch taller and a bit wider to fit the stuff I want to put in it better. I'll probably change the way the pockets are done on the sides too.

If you are brand new to sewing, I wouldn't do this as your first project unless you are pretty good at following directions. The actual sewing part isn't that hard. If I didn't mess up alot, it probably would have only taken me about 2-3 hours to complete.

I'm glad to inspire :)

My first project was cloth wipes.
Not too complicated and allowed me to practice my sewing.

I'm pretty good at following directions, but I think my next project will be some shopping bags.

I also want to convert my prefold diapers into fitted.

Then I'll get to the bag.

I'd love to see a picture.
Can you mail it to me ?
