About 6 of my fuzzibunz leg elastic has gotten stretched out so bad that they gape around my ds' legs and the pee runs right out. After him getting soaked several times, and us not being able to figure out why, I noticed the leg casings elastic is not bunching when laid out flat. I've only had these things for about 1/2 a month less than a year now and they're ruined. I won't even be able to use them or resell them when my ds is potty trained. Needless to say, I'm pretty irked right about now. I've only ever dried them by hanging and have taken good care of them.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if there's anything I can do to salvage them.

That shouldn't happen. I would contact your retailer and/or MOE and see about getting replacements. Elastic should last longer than a year.

Yes, it happened to ours too. The ones I have are about a year old with the leg casings sewn down, pointy tabs. About 2 months ago 3 of my 6 started leaking when ds wore them. I thought it was because he had been potty training and would pee a lot at once, but then I saw it happen one time and knew it was the gaps at the legs. I had the snaps on the farthest ones in (these are size extra large) and it's definitely the elastic. I tried him in a large size but on the farthest snaps out they are too tight. He definitely needs the XL, just with proper elastic. I haven't done anything about it because he uses them so rarely, but it bothers me that I can never use these for another baby. I'm slowly getting rid of all of my FBs except my all-fleece ones. I'm just bummed I can't sell them to someone else, or even give them away In my opinion once the elastic goes out they are totally useless.

Maybe someone else has a suggestion? :

Those are probably the same ones I have if you got them a year ago or so. They're the pointy tab with leg casings sewn.

I've already had to have about 4-5 of them restitched in the top back. I guess I'll contact MOE like Trish said and see if there's anything they'd do. I guess the only thing that could be done is to have new elastic put in. These FB's have always worked great for me, I'd hate to have to just throw them away.
