Have you picked a name? Am I the only one left!?

So, I'm due Jan. 28. SOOO tired of pg. With my other two kids we had a name by 20 weeks or sooner even. Now at 32...nothin'...I'm feeling hopeless. I want to love it, not just like it! KWIM? Anyone else like us? I just wondered...

Also, if you have any unique boy name ideas, feel free to share. I think I've heard every name in the world!

lol, no, you're not alone!! I have a girl name, but no boy name! and since I think this will be a boy I think we're in big trouble!!!

I also need boy name suggestions, so I'll be keeping tabs on this thread!
34.5 weeks and no names here either
We have list and lists with DS. He didn't get 1) an name on the lists 2) a name till HOURS before we left the hospital. Home birthing this time so no worries there but no, no names yet!

We talk about it from time to time. DH had a dream that we had a girl and named her Thaddeus Fredrick
Go figure!

same here. my dd was named halfway through. we know this one is a girl and we have a couple of names, we think we're close and then we can't decide again. sometimes it drives me nuts, most of the time i just ignore it and hope it'll work itself out! i'm not a fan of waiting to see what they look like, but maybe that'll work for us this time.
Due 1/4 and we don't have names for either gender. Either we don't like anything or we can't agree on what we do like. It sounds stupid, but we met our puppy the day before we brought her home and none of us could agree on or think of a really good name. On the way home from picking her up, DH just threw out a name and we all cheered -- it just fit! So I told DH and DD that I think that's what's going to happen with our baby. We have to meet him/her first, and then inspiration will strike (I hope)!
I feel like we're getting further and further from a name instead of closer! I'm so desperate I was searching name websites with my 2 and 4 yr olds asking their advice!
They couldn't agree either.

I'm due 1/2 and we're still nameless. We have a couple of contenders for each gender, but we haven't come to a final decision yet.

Yup same here. This one might have to be nameless for a little while. DH and I can't seem to agree on this. We'll see what happens...

We can't decide either. We had both the names for our other two before 20wks. We are 33wks now and just don't know what we will go with. We are also going to wait to meet him and hope for something to come. We did have one in mind but I told a friend and she laughed and made fun of it. I was so hurt I feel like I can't name my child...
I'm due 01/05 and we can't agree on any girl names. I LOVE the name Simone but DH doesn't. He loves Nora but I'm not a fan. Anything that we agree on, he decides after about a week that he doesn't really like it anymore.
: He's driving me crazy!!! I really wish we could find a name that I love instead of one that I just think is OK. We've poured over tons of baby name books and websites and still nothing. I'm really starting to worry! I'm secretly hoping that after he sees me in labor, he'll be so hypnotized by the miracle of birth and new life that he'll let me do whatever I want and we'll end up with a Simone!

Our boy name will be Ellery Duncan.

Truan

It's a unique boy name.

And DH and were talking over dinner, but we still didn't settle on any name.

Yep. We're getting further and further from a name too. I'm due on 1/1 and suspect we won't have a name in the next four weeks.

I am due 1/30 and we have had our first names decided on for months, but up until a week or so ago we were having problems with middle names, DH either didn't want one or it had to be a family members name. I wanted something not in the family, so for a girl its Ruby Moon and for a boy its Allerick Rhodan.
Oy, I'm in the same boat. But 3-year-old dd picked a name right out a few months ago and now has even added middle names. And she is very sure about it. She's hoping for a "baby sister girl" and says her name is Fred Nora Louise. It's been so much easier for us to just call the baby "Fred" than to come up with something that we would actually name our child.

It really took us awhile this time around. We finally settled on "Linus Griffin" and if he comes out unLinusee
, we'll name him "Griffin Linus" and call him Fin.

I think some babies just need to be seen and felt before they give up their name to us.

That's what I was thinking. If we can't decide by the time he's born, maybe I'll get my way. Which would probably be Sutton Kieth. But again, I'm not sure... Name I saw online last night: Cove, and we actually both liked it. However dh will get home tonight and say NAHHH.

Like truant or truancy? That seems to be setting a kid up for trouble.

I don't think so at all. Those words are rarely used in this day and age, especially by school age kids. And Truan very much reminds me of Truman, which is my ds's name.

I do love the other names mentioned in this thread. Sutton is lovely, and I Ellery is so cool.
It seems so hard to find great boy names.
