I guess I should have been more specific lol. I have 2 pairs of pp also and love them. They're so sturdy. She has info on her front page about tester soaker and longies.

Hmmm totally off topic, but isn't there something just a bit bizarre about testing soakers specially designed for winter in the middle of July??? Maybe it's because we're in the middle of a heatwave here!

Where's my fan?!?!

Yeah, does seem kinda kooky..maybe it has to do with her availability of wool??? Or maybe she wants to have them tested and ready to roll in time for cooler weather?

I just emailed her about being a tester ... we are going camping in August so night would be awesome for testing them!
Plus we'd wear them no matter what! I don't own any professionally knitted soakers or longies and would love this opportunity.

Oh, I'm sure that's why and on paper it makes sense, just not in my head. :LOL

Theoretically though, since they're wool, shouldn't they be "cooler in summer, and warmer in winter?" I mean that's one of the main selling points of wool, right?

Oh, I would love to test one of those! I can't do the PP because they are too scratchy but if they will be softer...

And, yes, wool does breath but it can also be warm. I don't think of wool as air conditioning, I just think of it as cooler than plastic, KWIM?

I'm wondering if those would be awesome for nighttime....once my son starts drinking liquid other than BM I'm sure he'll start peeing more and might need a heavier duty wool soaker. But then again I'm a stickler for soft and my oatmeal cashmere KP is like super duper insurance against leaks so I could always just use that (double layer oatmeal--yay!).

Aren't Pickle Pants Crocheted? it doesn't say in the tester paragraphs but the other ones are crocheted, not that it matters, I have still heard wonderful things about them! I e-mailed her about being a tester! I have nothing crocheted, and only a few knitted things (it is FUN to try out new wool too
)

Last summer (being in Michigan) we used wool pants at night all but like 1 1/2 months, and this year the boys got A/C in their room so will probably use them all summer!
