I am 12 weeks preggo this week and I need to tell my boss that I'm pregnant! ACK!! I got this job when I was about 4-5 weeks pregnant- so it kind of stinks to have to tell them. I can't hold off much longer as my belly is expanding and I have to wear a swimming suit quite often (luckily I have a baggy tank top I can wear over it when not in the water).

Anyways, how did telling your boss go or are you still waiting?

I haven't had to do this with either pg because I'm home now... but hopefully everything will go well when you do!

I'm almost 15 weeks now and DH hasn't told his work yet... I think the last time he waited til we heard the heartbeat at 16 weeks. So he'll probably do the same this time. His manager called here this weekend about some stuff going on and asked me how my kid was doing... I had to stop and think about whether DH had told him yet or not!

I told my boss at 5 weeks (only because it had implications for my maternity leave)
Some co-workers at 7 weeks (I was so miserable I could'nt hide it)
Now it's the 15th week and I think everyone knows through word of mouth. My organzation spans two different buildings so it's hard to tell.

I'm going to make an "official" annoucement at then end of August which will be our first full staff meeting since June. I was hoping we would have had our regular meeting the 1st week of August, but it got canceled. I was 12 weeks then and not showing.

Now I can't keep it a secret due to the "bump". Well I could, but I would have to wear the same two outfits everyday. Who knew all my clothes were so tight?
Plus I like showing off my little tummy. It makes me feel pregnant.

I told my job last week, but some people were told by another person who can't keep her mouth shut

I've told a couple people, including the one I'm teaching with next semester. So the news is no longer secret. I haven't told my "supervisor" because he's been in Bangalor all summer. The baby is due during a downtime in my job, so it should work out well.

I told my manager once we saw the heartbeat and the bouncing baby. I told my coworkers a couple weeks later, after my SO told his family. And finally I told my boss who works in another office. They all know about the previous miscarriages so they are supportive.

I told my boss and co-workers when I first found out at 6 weeks. I asked in meeting if they thought they could manage the department if I took at 3 month vacation in February
They laughed at first, but then noticed the beeming smile I had the whole time

I work at a hospital, and they all knew I had an appointment with my doctor that morning. All of them are very supportive, knew we had been trying off and on for 3 years and knew I needed to have another baby
