Anyone have any information on homebirthing in Kodiak?? I had dr. Halter with my daughter and now that hes gone, Ive been going to KIMA and really do not like it. People keep bringing up homebirthing to me but I really wouldnt even know where to get started with it. I liked the hospital okay last time but this time I want to go all natural.... I really am just confused and upset because I really do not like KIMA and I really want the best birth that I can have. Any info would be appreciated!

Last I heard, Katherine Piatt, a midwife in Soldotna was travelling to attend births around the State. I looked up her # 262-9858

I know a very experienced midwife that often travels to Kodiak to work. When are you due?
