Hello mamas.<br><br>
I have a friend who is very confused. She has been TTC after a tubal reversal. She found thought she might be pregnant (I’m not positive if she home tested or what) then she started bleeding. She went to the ER and her HCG level was around 150 (she cant remember exact #) her doctor told her she was miscarrying (which is upsetting to hear as 1 blood test can not prove this right?) Anyway she went for a retest Monday and her level was 290, and they are still telling her she is miscarrying (she is still spotting) She is confused as am I why they are telling her that if her # is up. She asked me if I knew where her #'s were supposed to be right now she should be around 5 weeks. I don’t have an answer for her, can any of you help me?<br>

How many days between the first and second blood levels??<br>
The levels should double every 2-3 days.<br>
Let me look up what the level should be at 5 weeks.

These are the levels I found. You can run a search on beta levels and see what comes back. My first m/c went like this, the levels rose slow, I was bleeding, but then they dropped to zero.<br><br>

Thank you ! So the level increase is hopeful, but not a sure "safe" pretty much right? First bloodtest was Saturday (around 150) 2nd Monday (290)

Definitely hopefull, is there any chance she's not as far along as she thinks she is?? Is she going in for more Betas??

I did just look up my betas from my last pregnancy, at 5 weeks 1 day I was at 1149.

was that 5 weeks from conception or 5 weeks from LMP? She is 5 weeks from LMP<br><br>

your friends hcg sounds a little low. i am 6 weeks and as of monday (may 17th) my hcg was 5000 something.
