Not one of those - I think he might be trying to smile... maybe... smiles. No, a big dimpled social smile! OK, it was a bit lopsided, but I'll take it.

I think maybe it is the eyes (crossed). I've been doing some patching this week, and he was looking at me really hard and really straight this morning when he did it.

Yay! : DD's smiles are lopsided too. At first I thought it looked a little strange, but now there's nothing sweeter in the whole world!!!

A little ray of sunshine

He's quit eating again. The past 4 days he's taken between 12 and 14 oz of food total - that with lot's of coaxing. We have to wait until next week to see our ped. cause she's on vacation, and we don't want to bring the on call doctor into our mess. I don't know if she'll want to tube feed or order additional testing or what. But dh and I feel we're ready to consider whatever, cause we are getting really tired of the constant battle. I kind of want to try tube feeding, even though I've been so against it. His head is still tightly molded from birth, and I'm been reading about the effects of cranial strains. We're doing all we can with cranial sacral therapy. But what really needs to happen is some growth. I'd like to see if we could excellerate his growth if that head would start to loosen up. (DD had alot of molding, and her's fixed after 9 months, but Juju's is worse than hers was - he was bigger at birth). It could be with his head the way it is, that it is just uncomfortable to eat sometimes. I don't know, we'll see what the ped thinks next Monday.

We also have our eye doctor appointment next week.. hopefully we'll see more smiles soon. I'm still on the afterglow of the first one
