Whoops, I don't know why that posted with no message in it.

My ds, who is not quite a toddler, is cruising everywhere and has started to be able to walk while holding only one of my hands. The other he likes to use to hold some object.

We were nursing on the floor and he unlatched, scooted away, picked up his sippy cup, grasped my hands, and climbed back into my lap. Then he latched back on, holding the cup!

:LOL

oh, i just love hearing all the older nursling stories! maybe he is really loves his sippy and wants to share the boobie love with it!

my dd is 7.5 mo and she is starting to sit up and nurse- the only problem is that she cannot hold herself up for very long and ends up sliding down... taking my boob with her! i am actually very much looking forward to having a nursing toddler- flyby and all. its such a cute, natural part of development

My ds is starting to want one of two stuffed animals that he sleeps with while nursing. We can be downstairs and he'll latch on, pull of and say ma-ma which is how he says Marmalade (the name of his bear, which also causes some confusion because it sounds almost exactly like mama (me)) or else he will say "duck". He then crawls down, goes all the way upstairs to get either the bear or duck and comes all the way back downstairs to nurse again.
