I think it's too early for me to know, I don't want to prepare anything or think of any names until I am at least 22 weeks - that's just how I am. With my first, I didn't buy any baby items until the end of the second trimester.
But one important thing I learnt is that the placenta is anterior - that's why I have felt only very faint movement so far. Not a big deal as long as baby puts himself in the right position!
This is where I may be in a couple of weeks only I may be the one knowing b/c DH doesnt want to know. I am wondering how in the heck I can keep it a secret!
There was no response from him AT ALL that would give it away to you? A gasp, a cheer, a sigh, anything??
See, we have two boys, we both want a girl this time, so there's no way we could keep our reactions non suspicious, you know? If it's a girl, I'd get excited, if it's a boy, I wouldn't be "upset" but there would be a noteable lack of excitement, you know? And I plan on buying several new outfits on the way home from the ultrasound appt
Well, here's hoping for your sake that he keeps it quiet for you!
I had my ultrasound this morning and DH found out. He says it was obvious at one point, but I must have been looking at something else on the screen. When I left to go to the bathroom, the tech told him.
He said if I ask three times in one day, he'll tell me, but I love surprises and a surprise at 20 weeks on a rainy spring day is nothing like a suprise after 40+ weeks on a hot, humind DC summer day.
Wow - you ladies are strong!LOL We've never found out - but that was BOTH of us! I'm not sure I could restrain myself from doing this....

I agree -a hot humid Manitoba summer will give way to a surprise.
