For the first time in his life, DS is wanting DH around instead of me. At first I was happy that DH got a share in the attention and now I'm jealous. I know it's silly, that it's probably a stage where DS needs to connect to DH more, but it's difficult for me. Especially since I work so hard and still manage to be the one who does everything in this house.
I don't know how I'll handle it when he's much older and says things purposefully to hurt my feelings! YIKES!

On the other hand, you might want to try to take advantage while you can....get some "me" time as hard as that sounds. You are right, he will inevitably switch back, though I think it is great he is developing a bond with his dad like this. He is probably starting to identify with him more. Good luck!
