Anyone else suffering.
I get a bad headache EVERYDAY. 3-4 times a week, they turn into a full migraine.
I am well hydrated. Eat lots, and go to my chiro weekly, if not more. I am left to assume this is hormonal. I did get some headaches with my son, but never like this. and with my girls, i didnt have any headache issues.

I have been taking excederin, since it is just tylenol and caffiene, and it works to some point, but once it turns into a migraine, there is nothing to do but sleep in a cool, dark room.

I take a theraputic aspirin everyday, since i have blood clotting issue, but i dont think the dose is high enough to help the headache. Just 81 mg.

So who else is suffereing. What helps you? any homeopathic remedies? supplements?

ouch. this happened with my last pregnancy and hung around forever! i use to get many more and they were debilitating! Now they are weak and usually never get full grown and only happen once a month or so.

this is going to sound crazy, but i starting doing this thing called tapping (eft). i would have tried a witch back when they were bad... anything! haha. so, this tapping thing is totally psychological, but since i was sure my migraines were emotionally (ie stress-related), I thought it might work.

Now whenever my eye starts to hurt, I have DH rub that eye for 5 minutes and if it doesnt go away, i tap until i forget about it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQp0kA5a5OI

oh, man, i totally feel you. I don't typically get migraines when I'm pregnant, but not pregnant I can get as many as 2-3 a week.

when I'm not pregnant, I take the hottest bath I can deal with and use peppermint oil...of course the hot part you can't do but have you tried peppermint? I've found peppermint EO applied to pulse points and in the air or sniffed works fairly well. Not a miracle cure, but it works.

caffeine will work for me if it's a headache, but not a migraine.

an ice pack on the forehead works fairly well, too.

so sorry, mama, it's no fun at all.

I have a very mild headache almost everyday starting in the early afternoon. A few times a week they turn into moderate headaches - not as bad as migranes, but I still don't feel like doing anything. Occasionally they start in the morning and are bad all day. I've had them since pretty early on, but for the entire first trimester refused to take anything. Now that I'm in the 2nd tri I'll take a couple tylenol if they get bad, but try to ignore the weaker ones. I just got tired of not being able to do anything.

I do think I should be drinking more water. I don't know that it would help, but I need to try it. I usually do drink water once they've started, but it's hard to remember during a busy morning at work to stop and fill a glass. I need to get a safe water bottle. I used to have a few, but pitched them when I learned about BPA and never got around to replacing them.

I had one Tuesday. I ended up taking two tylenol and two advil, and sleeping it most of the way off. My naturopathic midwife said most of the herbs that she might recommend are contraindicated in pregnancy. The new trick she suggested was putting my feet in warm water and a cold rag on my face.
