Anybody had this? I have a small tear on the corner or my placenta and I am on "modified bedrest". Does anyone know of any healing foods or remedies to help heal a small bleed? I have been really trying to just eat fresh veggies and as healthy as possible. I have family support to help care for my older DD, but if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Id talk to your midwife about adding a high dose of vitamin e. What trimester are you in? Id only stay away from high doses of vit e if you were in the 3rd.

I am 16 weeks, so 2nd tri. What exactly does vitamin E do to help? I'm just curious.

supposedly vit e makes for a "sticky" placenta. is helpfull for threatend miscarriage, and other placental problems. I dont have any studies off hand to link you to though, just referencing what Ive read/heard over the last 5 rys of study. Might be worth a post in the birth professionals forum.
