I bought a basic plan a couple years ago and used ehealthinsurance for comparisions. I don't remember the details, but it had a fairly high deductible, but did cover office visits, ER, pharmacy for myself and my DD. At the time it cost about $135 per month. We had it for about a year and hardly ever used it, but it was good to have around in case something bad did happen.
Are 20,000 questions and urine samples required for most of these?
I applied for DH earlier this year. He was denied because he was an expectant father at the time. Somehow that put him in a "high risk" category. Crazy pregnant wife could kill him....I don't know! It was a BCBS policy.
