Yeah, this is pretty last minute... but I need some ideas.

I am hoping to do some special Easter stuff with my daycare kiddos tomorrow and am trying to come up with ideas. I am going to do an egghunt with plastic eggs filled mainly with non-edibles (like stickers and whatnot) but a couple of chocolates.

I would like to have an Easter-themed lunch. I have a large bunny cookie cutter, so I might just make PB&J and use it to cut out the sandwich. That is the only sandwich ones of my kids will eat. Any other thoughts?

I also need to bring a snack for our local playgroup tomorrow. I have been looking for a decent Easter-themed idea that isn't completely full of sugar. I don't mind baking as long as it isn't too involved, as I only have this evening to shop and cook. If I can't find something I will probably just give each child one chocolate egg along with healthier stuff like fruit and cheese. I would like to more creative though.

So... what are you feeding your kids for Easter?

for my little guy's special easter treats (in lieu of a big chocolate bunny + other sugar filled candy), i have a few yummy earth lolipops and a bag of annie's homegrown organic bunny fruit snacks. (both are free of hfcs, as well as artificial flavors and colors.) maybe these would work for your playgroup.

as for the lunch, you could get some of the annie's homegrown organic cheddar (or honey) bunny crackers. they would go good with the pb+j with the bunny cookie cutter.

if you plan to bake, granola bars would be nice + simple.

good luck!
and happy easter.
