I am having a 20 week ultrasound in a few weeks to find out what I'm having. At my 13 week appointment, my baby's HR was 160 bpm. I went for another appointment yesterday, and it was 150 bpm. So, wise mamas, can you guess if I'm having a boy or girl???? I can't wait until my 20 wk ultrasound (which will be the last one I have, unless there are problems).

All my firends say GIRL, but I'm thinking BOY.

I think the old wives tale goes that if the heartrate is over 150 it's a girl and under is a boy. I'll play and say boy, too

According to studies a heart rate of 150 is definitely a 17 week old baby.

my baby has been in the 150-160 range this whole time. my mil has had dreams that we are having a girl (she has prophetic dreams...) and my midwife asked at my last appt if we are having a girl. i have an inkling that we are having a girl but won't commit to it one way or the other. will you post after your u/s what they determine the gender is? i know it won't tell me if we are having a boy or a girl, but we're probably not going to have an u/s unless medically indicated this time and it's going to be a long wait it seems.
