Happy to see this group up, even if it isn't exactly running yet! I am glad to start meeting you ladies! Tell me a little about yourselves so we can all get to know each other.

Guess I will start sense I am more or less talking to myself at the moment.

My name is Allyson. Yall can call me Ally. I am pretty awkward sometimes, mostly because I have no brain-to-mouth filter. I consider myself to be pretty dang smart. I am dyslexic though, so sometimes that doesn't come across if you consider yourself to on the grammar/spelling police. I am pretty liberal, so I am all about fairness and equality.

I am married to a good man, even if he frustrates the hell out of me 75% of the time. We have one daughter, named Lilly, who is about to turn 5 in a few short weeks. She can be a little diva sometimes, but she is a good kid for the most part. She is in pre-school this year, and she is doing so well.

We tested about three days ago, and we got those beautiful two pink lines. We have been planning this baby for over a year, and actively trying sense this summer.

I am guessing our due date to be around June 19th. We are planning our first homebirth (assuming everything goes well), so I'm really looking forward to that.

Hi! My daughter just turned 5 this week, they grow up so fast! She is in kindergarten at a local charter school and it's been great. I have DD (5) who was a hospital birth (traumatic because the doctor pushed interventions which I declined and he yelled at me, then I had a 4th degree tear), and DS (almost 3) who was a home birth (so much better, but traumatic because his heart stopped and the midwife had to resuscitate him, and because I had a 3rd degree tear and had to go to the hospital for stitches).

We were CERTAIN we were done having kids, until we moved to a new state and our circumstances changed. Then we changed our mind! #3 is due June 2nd.

I'm in my 6th week and struggling with nausea. Not as bad as the first two (I needed Zofran and Reglan with them), but this time I am gluten free/dairy free and also trying lots of alternative remedies like Morning Wellnes tea and DiVertigo Aromatherapy drops. I also have a lot more support from my husband than I did in the past.

This time I'm going to try a hospital birth with a midwife, because my new town is very naturally minded and I think I will receive the emotional support I didn't get at the other hospital with a standard OB. I'm going to try birthing on my side, slowly at the end to try to help prevent tearing (DS came out in one huge push).

I'm a stay-at-home mom and my hobbies include gardening (veggies, fruits and flowers), participating in my monthly book club, and creating natural toys for my etsy shop (http://gardenbirdie.etsy.com).

Yay, I've been waiting for this due date club to be up!

I'm Katherine and I'm a SAHM to 3 daughters... Madeline 7, Ainsley 6 and Genevieve 10.5 months. This LO is a bit of a surprise, as I didn't have my period back yet and I had no signs of ovulation. But obviously I must've O'd!

I got my BFP on monday and I estimate my due date around June 17, but that could be off.

With my first 2 I had a hospital birth with a midwife, and with my last I was at a birthing center. I will plan to use the same birth center again this time.

I feel ok so far, which makes me nervous. I had a m/c between daughter 2 and 3. But I am already seriously bloated and cannot even button my pants already. I'm sure that my uterus has zero tone at this point! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing this journey for the next 9 months!

I'm glad our board is finally up! I have two girls, an eight year old and an eighteen month old. I don't really think of myself as very crunchy, but I kinda am (still breastfeeding, baby wearing, cloth diapering, etc.). My youngest was born at home, and it was the most amazing experience ever, so I'm planning on going that route again. I tend to be really impatient during my pregnancies, so this time I'm taking a different approach. It's our last baby, so I want to slow down and enjoy the journey. I want to make this pregnancy as spiritual as I possibly can, and I've been doing a lot of meditation and hypnosis to help me chill. I also just bought a pass for prenatal yoga, so I'm excited about that.

I'm due June 5th, so I'm 6 weeks along now. I get little waves of nausea here and there, but for the most part I'm feeling pretty good still. My boobs are fine but nursing is a little uncomfortable. I've been going to bed early, and I usually have a cute little bloat baby by the end of the day, but non of my symptoms are extreme.

My dh is amazing! He puts up with my pregnant bitchyness and never complains about anything. He supports our family so I can stay home with the kids, and is a great dad.

I'm a 39 year old mama-veteran. :) My 5 kids are ages b21, b17, b14, b5 and g3. Yep, this 6th one was planned! All but one, the oldest, were homebirthed, the last 2 unassisted. I imagine that's how things will be w/ this one. We're due the 15th, and sososo hoping for a girl...

Beyond excited to be doing this one last time!

Hi, I'm Amy. How handy for the club to get started the day after I got a +HPT. I've been on MDC since I started TTC my oldest, who is now 9.5. I sort of feel like I'm going backwards in crunchyland because I had 2 homebirths and then chose a hospital birth with my 3rd. I loved my homebirths but both my older boys developed breathing issues shortly after birth and needed to transfer to the NICU. We didn't want the stress of another transfer, so I found a small hospital-based CNM group for my 3rd birth (which went wonderfully). There's a birth center available now that I'll consider this time.

I'm not feeling any symptoms yet and I keep thinking my period's going to come any second despite a pile of positive tests.

I homeschool my 3 boys, work a little bit from home for a media analysis company, and enjoy canning, gardening, sewing, knitting. I nursed all my babies between 2 and 3 years.

I'm hoping that being 35 isn't too big an issue for whichever caregiver we decide on. Boo on that!
