Hello everyone.

I am from England and we have an 8 month old son. We have put his vaccinations off up to now after reading 'Vaccinations - A thoughtful parents guide' by Aviva Jill Romm and some information we were given, written by Dr Jayne LM Donegan.

Any way we decided we would try and give him selected vaccines now that he was a bit older; Meningitis C, HIB and Tetanus (We still dont know if we can get the last 2 as individual vaccines)

Last Wednesday he had his first Men c jab, went smoothly, didn't cry, apparently no pain. But that night he woke up crying and running a temperature which calpol(Paracetamol) brought down.

The next day I was called by his nursery to say could i come and collect him as his temperature was 39.4c. Thay gave him calpol and he looked a lot better after 30 mins. He was not off his food but was very lethargic and sleepy even during feeding.

By that evening his temperature went up to 40.3c and this time we phoned the NHS direct helpline and relayed his symptoms and gave him more calpol. They said to give calpol and ibuprofen alternately , cool baths, light covers and call doctors in morning if symptoms were still there.

They were and the doctor completely dismissed this as having anything to do with the vaccine and said it was just a virus that was going round the area. (Strange that no other child in the nursery has the same symptoms)

I am mad at this refusal to even say it could be the vaccine effects.

Any way sorry for the essay but has anyone noticed similar effects after this jab, and is there anything i can do to help my baby to get over it.

nb I am probably not even going to finish the course or give him any others after this experience. He is still pale, temperature is still erratic (although not as extreme) and more tired than before and this is 6 days later.

Thanks for reading

Ben

Oh and here are some links to articles written by Dr Jayne L M Donegan. She is a London doctor who used to administer vaccines but after doing research refuses to give any now.

Sorry if this is a repost.

Daily Mail article

More

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Further to my post, My sons cousin (12 year old girl) came down with a virus; symptoms were fever, very high temp(fluctuating) and lethargy.

So I guess the doctor wasn't completely fobbing me off.

Any way i have a lot of reading to do by the looks of things,

thanks again

There is no telling whether he was fobbing you off or not, since you can't cut a child in half, vaccinate one half, And not the other, to see what will happen, and compare...

I'm of the belief that parents instincts are usually more accurate that those of the GP.

No, if his cousin had just had the vax even I could have put 2 and 2 together

To be honest we expected a bit of a reaction. I think his extreme reaction was a combination of him just getting over a cold, the vax and this virus.

The symptoms of his cousin were just too similar for coincidence.

Hi, Ben. Welcome to the boards. The reason(s) you NEVER vaccinate until AT LEAST two weeks after an illness/fever etc is because it takes a while for the body to get back up to par after fighting off an infection. Viruses deplete the body's store of Vitamin A for one. I would recommend a daily dose of cod liver oil along with sodium ascorbate.

Be warned though Ben... when you tell a doc you are delaying because baby is or has been sniffly you are likely to get the party line that "Babies have a sniffle so frequently if we delayed vax for every single one we'd never get all the vaxes into them!" To which I reply, "FINE!"

...a tad aggressive, please...

...feel the love--- because honestly that's what it is.

Here in the states we're closer to the Pharmaceutical Giant

that is literally eating our children alive.

We can feel its hot breath all around us,

and every single child saved from its maw is a victory.

My 20 month old son has never been vaxed, he is healthier, and by a very wide margin, than ANY of the half dozen children in our little sphere that have been vaxed.

And as healthy as the other children in this sphere--- about 8--- that have not been vaxed.

He sailed through his measles-- caught on a plane most likely from a child who HAD been vaxed (the MMR as you know is live)--- with breastmilk, Vit. A, Vit. C and goodpapa's superduper probiotic yogurt (read all about it on the "convince me to skip MMR" thread. He barely had a rash. Now he has permanent immunity-- without the dangers inherent in bypassing the body's mucosal immune system, which is what the jabs do.

Vaxes don't create healthier humans, they substitute chronic illness for acute illness--- not a good tradeoff.

We're all looking for the magic words to help you see what we see.
