we want to remind everyone that the RI Birth Network Meeting will be taking place this Sunday at 4 pm at Bellani (www.bellanimaternity.com) in Warwick RI.

We hope many moms will come out and join the group in a Sharing Circle.

Yes, I was the person posting about cloth diapers, Shannon and I are weighing the options of carrying a cloth diaper line. I'm asking this group since we are located right here in RI. We know many moms are using cloth but we don't (yet) have the resources to have a HUGE selection. So, I'm asking, local moms, what one line would everyone be generally happy with? What could we do to help illuminate new families on the idea of Cloth diapering?

Thanks for the ideas Jess....we are so thankful for the local community's support of our Center.

Also, please remember that we are a safe, private location to breastfeed, change diapers, and use the loo...right on Route 2.

Thanks so much,
I don't cloth diaper anymore, but will always be an advocate!
I think offering prefolds and covers would be ideal, as that is an easy and inexpensive way to start cloth diapering. Also a pocket diaper would be great to show, as you can stuff them with prefolds.

i would look into green mountain diaper company made right in vermont. they are beautifully made , very absorbant and are a great value for what you get. The owner of the company may even visit and do a demonstration. These diapers are made of unbleached cotton and the covers are wool.

Hi Kelly! It's me, Laura Cioe! Well, we just keep "bumping" into each other! LOL!

I haven't been on in awhile but just saw this post...

I would think a pocket diaper, maybe a onesize, would be nice to get some people interested, then you could branch out from there.

We can chat about it next time I come in!
