Hello! I am from Middletown, CT. My partner and I are trying to get pregnant, so I'm interested in connecting with others on this journey or who have recently given birth. I'm newish to Connecticut and very new to Middletown, so I'm also interested in connecting with people in their mid to late thirties and early forties in my area.

My partner and I are into the eco-friendly lifestyle and are fixing up our 100-year-old house with solar panels and eco-friendly appliances and materials. My partner is pescatarian and I'm a vegan.

At the moment, we like to go to concerts, out to eat, and to grab a cocktail on the weekends, but we're considering how our lifestyle will change once we bring a baby into the family. We also have a dog and three cats.

I work for the National Federation of Families, a non-profit organization that provides technical assistance, training, and advocacy support to organizations that help families get high-quality mental and behavioral health care through the use of Family Peer Specialists. I'm a trainer, researcher, and author in the mental health field. My past focus areas have included the use of mindfulness to reduce stress and address the effects of trauma, improving school culture as a way to buffer against childhood trauma, and transformational leadership skill development for emerging leaders with lived experience of mental and behavioral health challenges.

I am also a trauma-informed yoga teacher. My favorite style of yoga to teach is a mix of restorative and yin yoga. I just completed three years of employment with an amazing non-profit in New York City that provides free, trauma-informed yoga to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, Exhale to Inhale.
