Hello from Portland!

I haven't posted around her in FOREVER and was browsing and thought I'd stop by and introduce myself.

I'm Corrie, single mom to Kayley who is 5 1/2 going on 15. I have a wonderful boyfriend who supports me so I've been lucky enough to only have to work a little throughout the last 5 years. I'm good friends with Kayley's father-he is also a big part in her life. Poor girl-when she is a teenager, she will have two dads scaring her dates away

Anyway...I started browsing again hoping to connect to some mommies before my daughter starts the next huge transition in her life...kindergarten. I can't believe how time flies!

HI - welcome to Mothering! Sounds like your little girl is very lucky with her parents!

Kindergarten is a biggie...it's amazing how fast the years fly by, isn't it?
