Just wanted to say hi before continuing to post. I'm a new mom of a 3-month old boy, whom I love more than I ever thought possible. Unfortunately, motherhood has proved to challenge some of my worst personality complexes - needing control and being a perfectionist. He is teaching me many lessons. But, I still need some help, and that's why I'm here. I don't have a lot of baby experience, and I'm uncertain a lot of the time and looking for support. He's a wonderful baby -- calm, social, a good eater --, but a terrible sleeper. I want to try to make the best decision for him and our family, and hope to read a whole range of 'mommying' here. From the looks of the posts I've read so far, you all seem like a welcoming group without a lot of polarization, so I look forward to being a part of your community.
