We just moved to the area from Flagstaff, Arizona. Thanks to the mamas who referred us to here last fall, we are enjoying it very much! Everyone is so nice here and the village is beautiful. We found a place in the Arts District off of Harrison. It was the first place we looked at. We've been nesting since moving day last Tuesday.
I'm looking forward to meeting other families here. I have a 2 1/2 yr. old boy who would love playmates. I finally have a couple days off of work and I would love to take him to a park or something, just explore "kid" things here. Any recommendations? What kinds of playgroups or classes are here?
Also, what are the options here as far as groceries? I saw the Whole Foods in River Forest and the Jewel on Madison. I'm sure the Farmer's Market will be starting soon, just wondering what we can check out for now. Thanks a bunch, have a beautiful weekend!
