My name is Dawn and I am 34-years-old. I have 2 children and am pregnant with number 3. I had my daughter Darcee when I was 18-years-old. I had her at Hutzel Hospital in Detroit, MI with the aid of only a midwife. I had her completely natural. It was not a good experience for me and for many years I did not want another child. Then when I married my husband in 2004 I knew I wanted a baby with him. My son Daniel was born 7/27/05 in a hospital with an epidural. It was actually a much more relaxing experience, but because I didn't "feel" anything I feel disconnected with his birth. I am seeing an OB (the same one that delivered my son) right now, but am considering a UC. I'm hoping this site will give me lots of positive experiences to help me make my decision. If all goes well this time I will have a UP and UC next pregnancy.
