Also, don't forget that you can resell you cloth for at least half to your purchase price, so effectively you've only spent $70.

Really though, if you want to save money these early months you've got to keep it simple and stick with cpfs. I know the allure of cuteness is strong but cpfs are so very practical and much easier to take care of than many types of fitteds and AIOs. There are several Moms here who spent tons of money on different types of fitteds and AIOs and then gave up and went back to prefolds because of frustrations with fit a difficulty with care.

Once your baby is about 6 mo she will stop growing so fast and you can treat yourself to some fancy diapers and wool covers.
