Need help fast. I just called my friend who is 33 weeks pregnant. She has a bad cold and sinus infection and ear infection. They say it is bacterial and they gave her antibiotics. Her husband just now got home with it, so she's about to take it. Does she have any alternatives? I hate to see her take it if she doesn't have to. Would appreciate any suggestions. I'll call her back in a few minutes. Thanks!

I would suggest LOTS of Vitamin C, Echinacea with Elderberry and if she is comfortable using Homeopathy try this site here: http://www.webhomeopath.com/en/jsp/search_symptom.jsp
She does not want to get a yeast infection and it would be horrid to deal with Thrush too. I would definitely tell her to just use the antibiotics as a VERY last resort. Tell her to rest and drink good OJ (organic if possible) Eat well and this too shall pass.
