OK, I bought 3 HB style WAHM AIOs (made for her daughter) off ebay and they are beautiful, but... they wick so I can only use them for at home.
Can anyone recommend how to strip them or anything else so I can take my daughter out in these cute dipes?

TIA!

I have not tried anything. I do not know the weight of the fleece (I have no clue how to find out either). These dipes are always dryer dried because they take soooo long to line dry, so I'm glad I am doing that right!

Thanks for responding and Thanks for your help!

Thanks so much you all!
Here is the link to one of the auctions:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=26269&rd=1

And here is the text:

Large HB-Homes are designed to fit from approximately 20-30 pounds. This one may fall a bit higher on the weight range as I made it to fit my chubby daughter, so let me know and I can add crossover TouchTape for the winning bidder at no additional charge. The outer is Red MM WindPro. The soft medium purple velour. There's a hidden inner layer of double-napped flannel with a sewn-in soaker of either 4 layers hemp/cotton fleece or 3 layers burley knit terry, I don't remember which. The tabs have a woven cotton print of brightly colored ladybugs on a white background. Closures are 1.5" Aplix with foldback tabs for laundering. Condition is excellent. Only the fabric on the tabs is very slightly faded at the edges and curls back a little bit. Please check out my other auctions to combine shipping -- thanks for looking!

THANK YOU AGAIN!

I agree!! She did use MM fleece so that is the good stuff..

Best of luck

I second the recommendation for a waterproofing spray like Permanent Water Guard. I did a few of my leaky fleece AIOs and haven't had a problem since
.

P.S. I bought a HB Home from that same seller a bit ago, but I haven't tried it yet because DS is still in mediums. Thanks for the heads up that it may wick!

I can't wait to see if this works. I have some fleece covers that leak real bad. I have only used them a couple of times and I cannot wait to see if this works for you. Fleece seems like it would be great for our TN winters. Hi neighbor!

I've had fleece covers and AIOs in rotation for a couple of years and have never dried them in the dryer-I line dry everything all year around.

Another thing-are you putting snug pants on over the fleece? I get compression wicking with some of DS' jammies so I have to watch what I put on over the diaper.

Just a thought
