Backstory to this.

Anyway my SIL "S" emailed me today asking me about something that I said during our conversation. I quoted The thinking womans guide where she says that US is 23 in infant mortality and 31st in maternal morbitity. S wants to know where I got this info because it really disturbed her. I apologized for disturbing her but I feel great that she's actually doing research about this. I figured she would blow off what I said about it.
Anyway I lent my beloved copy of the Thinking woman's guide to my other SIL "C". Can one of you look in the bibliography and find where Henci Goer got her stats for this? S and I would really appreaciate it.
