My husband and I are moving to Georgia in less than one month. I am looking for a midwife. We will be about 45 minutes (N) from Macon. Not really looking for a home birth necessarily just a positive birth experience with a practitioner who understands the midwife model of care, and supports intervention free birth (when possible)

Look up Carlene Allen, CNM. I think she may be practicing in Warner Robins now - she was with an OB practice for a while. She did my first homebirth and was wonderful.
