I went to lanolize my Easy tonight, and not having access to the search function I decided that I would just guess on how much lanolin to use.

: Not a good idea. Apparently I used too much and now my Easy is a sticky, tacky mess.

It's chilling out in some baby shampoo now. What do I do??

It will be okay mama! Just wash it up again in some baby shampoo and it should remove the tackiness. If it is still tacky after washing it you can try something stronger like Woolite but you will probably have to lanolize again, with less lanolin :LOL , afterwards.

Thank you Trish! I totally forgot about the resources! Durrrr. I washed and rinsed it a couple more times with baby shampoo, and it's starting to feel better. It's going to be very, very waterproof now!! :LOL

I did that to my very first Righteous Baby wool and was so scared I ruined it. Like others said it does come off.
