hi there, i know a lot of nursing mamas have this, but is there anything i can do about it? i have a 4 month old and i tend to nurse him on my left breast as a default (bc i am right-handed and its easier, i think), but have to remind myself to do the right as often. but i'd say i nurse him with the left breast 4 times for every 3 on the other, so not a huge difference. now i did the right a few times in the last couple hours and not the left, and the left is huge and full and was leaking when i nursed. if is there any way to regulate this?

i have a 2 y/o who nursed till about 2, the left was larger then, too, but less obviously bc i wasnt bursting with milk like i am now. i wore a sport bra that was a little tight, the left boob stuck out through the top (i felt like i belonged in an 18th century gown). any advise would be most treasured! thanks~

i always have been lopsided (almost a whole cup size difference) si it doesnt bother me so much....but if it bothers you and you think one just has more milk that your baby isnt drinking fast enough, why not pump that side when babe is finished and start a freezer stash for a just in case moment....

I have the same problem. I tend to nurse only on the left side during the day (just easier to position DD). I've found it helps to nurse mainly on the right side at night. Do you co-sleep? It's easier to nurse on both sides if you're laying down together. Your body will eventually regulate itself as far as supply/demand on each side.

I have this, too!

If I pump, I get 4x as much out of my right boob vs my left. It look ridiculous as well. I try to be even, but if I am babywearing, I can only use my right boob. I am just not coordinated enough to do it the other way. Maybe someday when I graduate to Advanced Babywearing.

Maybe I'll just start hanging out with the pump on my left boob all of the time. Or I could just get one of those chicken cutlet things to put in my bra. I just can't justify paying for a set when I only need one.
