I'm working out a trade on the TP and the momma has the following kinds of yarn available.

I'm mostly interested in knitting some soakers (shorts and longies too) and wool slippers for felting. Since I'm new to knitting, this list makes my head spin. LOL

Help please! Which would be best for soaker shorts, longies and slippers?

Candide Heavyweight (heavy worsted 170 yards) medium greay 4 skeins
Candide Lightweight (sportweight 245 yards) 12 purpely skeins (11 unwound, 1 wound), 1 each (all unwound) cream, raspberry, tealy green. Clearly I had some pattern in mind!
Shetland weight (no tags, I bought an entire bag from a knit shop, I've made several things, my memory is that it is alot of yardage) 3 skeins of a gorgeous robins egg blue.
A very large full cone (a friend bought it in Scotland) of a natural taupe and cream heathery tweed (I'd call it a light/medium worsted weight), has to be at least 1,000 yards.
Saucy Cotton, worsted weight, 2 bright yellow, 1 black, 2 bright blue, 1 red, 3 white/cream
Berroco Natural Chunky (very heavy worsted 328 yards medium brown/grey with cream flecks 6 rolls/skeins
Tahki Donegal Tweed ( heavy worsted 183 yards) red w/multi color flecks 8 skeins
Patons Classic Wool (worsted 223 yards) butter yellow 3 skeins
Rams Wool Superwash (heavy worsted 140 yards) 4 skeins blue, 2 sage
Green Mountain Spinnery (sportweight 250 yards) 2 Aquamarine- a dark turquoisey and 4 Champlain Blue- a light turquoisey

The patons and the green mountain (yummy, yummy yarn!!!) will be good for soakers, and the candide heavyweight will probably be good for either longies or the felted slippers
