My dd has been what some have said SPIRITED since birth. Always nursing very demanding etc etc.
she has evolved into a MONSTER. She is uncontrollable. She has the most terrible fits or tantrums. She will scream and cry screaming NO NO NO.
Anything can set her off from sitting on the couch next to her when she doesnt want you to or walking into the room when she doesnt want you in there. She smacks me and will kick me. SHe is also still an avid nurser and if i wont nurse her she screams and kicks me. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO tired of this attitude and temperment i am ready to scream. SHe is mean to her siblings she will hit them pull hair etc and htey are all older than her.
She wakes us up screaming at night kicking her feet throwing a fit.
We are not spankers but have resulted lately to a few swats on the bottom for this behavior we have run out of options but it has NO effect on her she will laugh at you when you spank her. I have put her on the couch in the corner and she screams at me NO NOINO NONO and gets up from the spot i have placed her.

I need help!!!!!! I dont know how to handle this child. The entire family walks on pins and needles as to not upset her and make her scream. UGGGGHH I just dont knwo where to turn. I cant handle her any more. Dh and i both have lost our patience with her. By the way she will be 3 in Dec
I'm sorry for what you're going through. My DD also is somewhat spirit, but I don't really have any advice. Have you read Raising Your Spirited Child? It's a real eye-opener and has lots of great advice for dealing w/ spirited little ones.

Good luck.
