I'm trying to put one together for dd, eliminating our "true" allergens, but spreading around all the other foods so she doesn't become allergic. At this point, we've been abstaining from nuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish and soy *on top* of her "real" allergies, just because these ones are potentially bad news.

My question is, should I include these foods in her diet on a rotated basis or should I still keep them out all together? (She's not quite two years old, so we won't do peanuts at all, but what about the other nuts?)

Our allergist said to wait on all nuts and seeds until age three for our allergenic babe. I didn't ask about seafood. I tried rotating, but it was too hard, even with my diligent note-taking. I found that something always slipped in and messed up the rotation (hubby didn't always listen carefully to the days menu options, for instance :, you know? ).

Hard to say with such a youngun ... that might make sense. From our experience I would say definitely avoid the nuts as they are quite hard to digest.

How many foods do you have to choose from? Do you have enough protein sources?

I'm trying to get my hands on a library copy of The Rotation Game which is supposed to be one of the best books on the subject.

Thanks ainh. I think we will avoid all nuts and seeds for the time being.

Jane, We're okay with the protein sources (though, strangely, dd doesn't seem to like chicken). We can do beef, chicken, turkey, pork, and legumes. I saw your sticky in HTG and I'm probably going to adapt that.

Really quick, what brand of CLO do you use?
