My cousin just had an intact baby boy today, and I'm trying to find a GOOD ped for her. I'm afraid if she has a pro circ doctor, it could eventually result in her son being circ'd. So if anyone knows any, please let me know! She lives very near Lebanon TN, which about 20-30 minutes from Nashville, so a Lebanon ped would be preferable. Or if anyone knows a way to locate a foreskin friendly ped even if they don't know any in that area, that would be of help too. Thanks!

Hi, my dd also lives near Lebanon( Watertown) and she sees the nurse practioner at Dr. Wiggins office, I belive her name is Stacy( I will ask dd this afternoon)

This Nurse is great, supports long term breasfeeding and encourages Kait(mydd) to continue breastfeeding as long as she can. Violet( my granddaughter) does not go to well baby visits, she is non-vaxed. She has only seen Stacy twice, both for colds and the like. I am not sure how she would be regrading an intact little boy but she is worth a try.

Blessings,

Here's a link to another comment. I believe the poster was granolamom's DD, in fact.

http://mothering.com/discussions/sho...2&postcount=25

I'll be sure to let my cousin know. She has decided to go with Dr. Wiggins. My son actually had him when he was younger. The only thing I didn't like was Dr. Wiggins pulled his foreskin back about halfway over the glans, which is a big no-no. At the time I didn't know to stop him, I just assumed that he knew what he was doing since he's a doctor. My son was not hurt though. I did let my cousin know about this and told her NOT to let anyone retract her sons foreskin. My son had a yeast infection once and I saw Dr. Hanley and he was great... just gave us some drops and sent us on our way- no biggie!
