HELP ME!!! I'm leaking pee? :(

FYI: this is some graphic talk!

OK, so I thought that after my period I just kept spotting, but it's been more than a week...and I'm the type that only has 3 days or so for my period. Ya, and so now there's no color to it really and it smells like pee. (I'm wearing panty liners). This last week I kept wondering why I am so stinky and I really think it's because I thought I was spotting, because there was some color initially because of my period.

This has never happened to me before and I'm freaking out! My sister has this problem but it just comes out when she sneezes or coughs. She also had 2 vaginal births, but I had a c-section and that was 13 yrs ago. For me I can feel it coming out if I sneeze or pick up my dd (she weighs 100 lbs). But I can feel it coming out a little other times when I'm not exerting myself in any way.

Can this happen with age (I'm only 37) or does this just mean this is my punishment for never doing kegels?

I've done some kegels and I do think my pelvic floor muscles are really weak. Also, can being really overweight cause this?

I hope there's some mama's out there who have this problem or know about it.

I'm going to look into buying some of those pelvic floor weights (or whatever you call them). Has anyone used these? I had a friend who had them, but I don't know if she used them.

Any advice is helpful!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have any answers, but I can completely empathize since I have this problem, it started the way your sister's issue did and it's just escalated from there in the past several months. I had 2 c-sections, and they were both more than 20 years ago and I am very overweight, think 350+ lbs. I know that the weight plays a big factor in it.

Hopefully someone will have some advice and answers, just an FYI, I don't have health insurance at the moment and I have tried kegels and they haven't helped.
it sounds like a prolapse. i would see a gyn. there are things you can do. i have had this problme myself. i developed it in between DS and DD which is like 11 years so i dont think it neccessarly is b/c of a c'sec as i had vag birth. it has more to do with your ligaments and pelvic floor muscles. check out the prolapse thread in health and healing i believe.

I'm a bit over 200 lbs at 5 ft 1 in. Do you mind sharing your age?
It is at least good to hear I'm not alone. I don't have Ins. either.

I looked into the pelvic floor weights online and they are between $60 and $90. I thin I am going to try and get them. They are supposed to be way more effective than just doing kegels.

Sorry, I thought I put my age in the post, I'm 45.
OK, so now it has felt like I have leaked several times but there is nothing there. There was actually something there at some point I swear.

My dh thinks it could be a UTI, but I have no pain or discomfort at all.

What do you think?
Although I have never personally experienced it as a symptom of a UTI, I have read and heard from others that it can be.
I have incontinence as well and I'm younger than you (maybe because of 2 vaginal births? I do kegels..). I'd love a link to the pelvic floor weights you were talking about.
