Hi! We are new to Cding and have been buying dipes from all over. Over the past couple of mail days we have gotten dipes that, well, that smell!

I have read you talk about doing a strip wash to prevent this. Will a strip was also remedy stinky dipes? If so, what is a strip wash?

Please help us! We only have 6 dipes in our rotation and we need to work these in!!!!

Thanks!

What do they smell like? Some people's houses just smell weird to other people. I would just wash them in a free and clear detergent and hang them outside on the line. Then, I usually pop them into the dryer with an herbal sachet. (I usually use lavender and rosemary.)

If they smell like pee-pee, they probably need to be stripped. Stick em in the washer on hot with NO detergent. If there's bubbles, they need stripped. Just keep washing on hot till there are no more bubbles. That's stripping.

Yep, I just got some great SOS dipes too that stunk really bad of cigarette smoke. Yuck! I washed them in Bio-Kleen and then put a drop of lavender essential oil on each one when I threw them in the dryer. Worked great! Now I love the dipes whereas before the smell made them seem not so appealing!

We have been stripping all day! We probably should have waited 'cause we are expecting more fluff mail. Now I have it in my head that I need to strip everything we get that is not new.

I hate to drive the power bill so high the first month of CDing. Thanks sooo much for your help. Now we gotta get TT & Lav oil!

Oh, can you tell me - should I dry these AIO's in the dryer or on the line?
