We found out last week this baby is a girl and I am having a hard time coming up with names. I've looked at about a million, came up with a list of about 6 and DH vetoed half those and the others don't "feel right". DD1's name was easy - we had agreed on it years ago, so when we found it she was a girl it was a no brainer. This time, not so much.

Here are my "requirements"
As a general rule I don't like names that end in an "e" sound - aka Kelly, Emily, etc. Same with names that end in an "a" sound - Hannah, Ava, Jessica, etc. I also tend to like classic names like Katherine vs modern names like Jaden. I do like boys names as girls names and gender neutral names. DD1's name is Morgan.
Hit me with your ideas ladies!

I'm happy to put my daughter's name up for consideration - Rowan. It seems to fit your requirements, except maybe being classic. I wouldn't consider it modern, though.

Don't worry, I won't be offended if you don't like it

You've had some great suggestions so far. I particularly like Beatrice. Charlotte and Eleanor. Clementine is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Have you used http://www.nymbler.com/ ? You put in names you like and it gives you suggestions based on the type of names you prefer.

Ideas from Baby Name Wizard for (female) siblings of Morgan: Jordan, Logan, Camryn. They also include Mackenzie & Shelby but those have the "ee" sound at the end. I like Bronwyn, Gabrielle, Rachel, Piper.

Don't stress...you could be me. 8 months along with another girl and in total agony over the name issue.

I am having a hard time with names too... I like a lot but don't LOVE any. The ones I do love love, my hubby doesn't. Naming girls is hard. I am eagerly lurking in this thread and hoping I find a name too haha.

Such pretty names mamas!
I love traditional names like Eve, Naomi, and Mary. Oh wait, you don't want any "e" sounding ones. Ooops.

I also love nature names. If you are interested, I can dig up that old nature name tread from when I was pregnant several moths ago.
