My kids want to throw a birthday party for Shakespeare. Our small co-op group is going to see a performance of the Tempest put on by another homeschool group just prior to Shakespeare's birthday. It's an early evening performance so we are gathering for a pot luck dinner together before and my kids want to turn it into a Shakespeare party.
Anyone have any suggestions for hands on activities, games, crafts etc for a mixed age (mostly 5 - 10 y/os) group? Decorations and food ideas welcomed too.
Thanks in advance
Karen
Ooo this sounds like so much fun. I'm subbing for ideas, but don't have many myself. I'd think little skits and dress-up are a must. Using pen quills made from feathers would be fun. Make a game up with puns. . ..
