Help me plan my family vacation please. We will be driving to S. Florida for a few days in Dec. ultimately ending up in Orlando for X-mas. We plan to travel around the southern part of the state for a few days. We are totally NOT a theme park family, more of a nature-science group. What are the things and places you all think we should do? kids range from 12-4mo. thanks

Look into going to the Everglades, and the Keys are excellent that time of year! We have an Oceanagraphic Center (Martin County) that is geared towards kids all ages and my DDs love it. There is a Lion Country Safari park in the West Palm BEach area (i think) that my DD1 went on a school field trip and had a blast. If you ever make it to my neighborhood check out the Sunday afternoon Jazz on the River and the brand spanking new children's museum
