We recently received a kitty from a friend who had been fostering him for 18 months. He lived in a house with other cats but was too dominant to stay there. We are loving having Elliot here, but I don't think he's adjusting too well... he is using his litter box, but also is spraying... He sprayed in DS's closet in a basket of stuffed animals! http://www.diaperpin.com/forum04/icon_smile_dead.gif How can I wash these and get the smell out? I have some bedding and a rug to clean too.
Other than the spraying he's doing well - very good with CJ and friendly with DH & I - although he hasn't let either of us pick him up to cuddle at all.
HELP! I need some cleaning tips - maybe some tips to prevent spraying... We really want this to work, but I rent and if it smells like cat urine when they come to do the fire inspections (2x a year) then we won't be able to keep him here. http://www.diaperpin.com/forum04/icon_smile_sad.gif
Could he be smelling our other cat and rebelling? (recently got hit by a car)
