What do you think? This is my first assisted cycle and I am just going crazy.<br><br>
I have been charting for a while and my cycles seem to be 26 - 27 days with O about day 13. I have had 2 early miscarriages over the past 6 months so am having this cycle "tracked" and "supported".<br><br>
Well this cycle I seem to be taking a very long time to grow an egg. I was given a 5000 HCG trigger on Friday - day 14 - when my follicle was 20mm. I was very nervous that I was going to O without them realising. Anyway that seems very late in my cycle to me but what do I know.<br><br>
Now, my new concern is that I have not had a thermal shift. Every other month I have a distinctive temperature rise and clear pattern of O on my chart. It has been over 3 whole days since the trigger, surely something has happened by now. Does the HCG interfere with this? Should I ring the clinic? I am worried that I will sound every bit as clueless as I really am.<br><br>
I am scheduled to take 1500 HCG injections every 3 days for the next 13 days when I have a blood test. What do you think?<br><br>
Did I mention I am nervous, anxious and worried???

I can understand your anxiety! I have be there and still could not o! My protocol was the same. Except my HCG dosage was a little higher. I was also dig. W/PCOS which lead the doctors to think that I was unable to O or the dosage would have to be very high. I never did see a change in my temp. So I was not sure if O ever did happen. Needless to say we did not get p that way we had to change dr and do IVF.<br><br>
But you have all of the signs that you are going to do fine! The most important thing is to think positive! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"> )

I don't temp while I'm doing medicated cycles. A lot of what I've read seems to show that fertility meds mess with your temps and charting can't be relied on while on the meds. Does your dr do an u/s or progesterone level check? Maybe you can ask to have your prog level checked on 7dpo/trigger just to check and to give you peace of mind.

Yes I am having a blood test on Friday so all my levels will be checked then. It's just the waiting that's killing me.

The hcg shot can mess with your temp, definitely. Are you being monitored via u/s?

Yes, I had two ultrasounds prior to the trigger but none since. Is this something (else) I should be concerned about?<br><br>
It is so reassuring to know that the hcg can mess with the temps because I still have very low temps and in my mind have written off this cycle as a failure. I am 7 days past trigger now and having a blood test tomorrow to check e and p levels. Do you know what good levels would be?
