We are doing construction and don't have our washer and dryer for 4 months. DH wants to just use disposables. But I refuse to give up on CDing. Its day 5 and my diaper smells like hell on wheels.

My questions are:

Is laundramat washing the same as at home? Are people going to look at me weird with a big bag of smelly diapers?

Can and how do you hand wash cloth diapers?

Since I am 5 months pregnant and have a 2 year old can I even deal with the laundramat? Should I just use a service and wash my covers by hand or should I use sposies????

If you have a sevice available in your area I would use it Much easier than lugging dirty dipes to the laundry mat esp. with a preggo belly and 2 y/o.

I agree, use a service. I imagine the cost would be about the same as disposables, and it would save you alot of work not having to lug smelly diaps to the laundry mat.
