My older son tried or thought he was helping with the wash. I had Fuzzi Bunz in the wash and they were soaking. He thought they needed to be washed and put a full amount of powdered laundry soap in and proceeded to wash. What do I do now????? I am rather new to CDing and don't know what to do.... Are my diapers ruined???? Do I need to strip them? If so how do I strip my diapers. Any suggestions would be a huge help.
Thanks...

Do another hot wash without adding anything and see if you still have suds. IF there are still suds do warm rinses until they are gone. Using a 1/2 cup of white vinegar in the rinse will help clear out the detergent.

Good luck!!!

You're welcome We've all been there done that LOL!!! They will be fine - it will probably just take a few extra rinses

I've had family members put fabric softener on my diapers, put wool in the dryer, etc.

There's "the best way to care for diapers so they last a long time" and there's "good enough- the poop and pee got washed off"
