What is your closet space like? DH and I have two small walk-in closets in our bedroom, so I built shelves in both of them. Our kids have more closet space than they need, so we store out of season clothes and dress clothes that we don't use often in their closets, to free up space in ours.

Can you store things under the bed and crib? I like under-bed storage for out of season clothes and bedding, and other things that don't get used often, but can't go in the garage (I have built a lot of storage shelves in the garage).
yea if your closet is big enough to fit the crib i would put the baby in there, my sons toddler bed was in the closet, i took off the closet doors and had whimsical curtains hanging on a curtain rod, it was like his own little nook....
I like under bed boxes too. I used to have some rubbermaid type drawers and could stack them 2 high (one on top of the other) and 3 across (so we had 6 in all)under the crib and put all ds's clothes there. I could stack them one high under the big bed and just laid several side by side under the bed for our clothes. We completely got rid of the dressers this way--until we moved to a bigger house. I like the idea of putting the crib in the closet, too. That would help if it could be done.
what a cute idea to put the toddler bed in the closet! we have a small bedroom with a queen size bed, single tall dresser, tiny nightstand and foldable bassinet/changing table. its this one. http://www.chitchatbaby.com/zoomify....hogany_big.jpg
