Argh - this man has made me SOOO mad, I can't think straight. I just need a quick summary and this isn't sounding right to me.<br><br>
Can someone edit/fix it quickly so it's correct?<br><br>
"The APP recommends breastfeeding exclusively for at least the first six months of a child's life and in addition to solids for a minimum of up to a year and thereafter for as long as is mutually desired. The World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding continue for a minimum of two years."

I'm pretty sure (not positive, though) that the AAP recommends ebf for six months, not at least six months. Minor edits:<br><br>
"The APP recommends breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months of a child's life, then in addition to solids for a minimum of one year and thereafter for as long as is mutually desired. The World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding continue for a minimum of two years."

I'd say go with ~pi's edit. Never include the words "up to" in reference to breastfeeding length, that's all the uneducated on this will see.<br><br>
I've noticed over the years that the news people read those words in place of "at least" all the time.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">:
