Help, Snohomish Moms! My Procrastination has Come Back to Bite Me!

So, I'm planning a waterbirth, but Ihave no pool.
:

I looked online, saw a few things that would work, but obviously didn't buy anything. I thought, "Well, Spring's on the way. If I wait just a few more weeks I can just pop into Toys R Us and pick a pool up." Unfortunatly, I'm due in two weeks and Toys R Us (as well was WalMart, Babies, R Us, Target, etc.) don't have anything that will work. Everything's too big, too short or not inflatable/comfortable. What am I going to do?? Has anyone seen any inflatable pools, app. 2-3 feet deep and small enough to fit inside the house in any stores recently? I'm depsperate. Any thoughts would be appreciated! TIA!

You can rent one at the aquadoula which is in Everett. I know its $$$ but most of the charges is for shipping as the ship through out the USA.
There is also a place in Seattle that you can rent from too.
I don't have that kind of money. ANy other suggestions?

I know of people that have used horse troughs from a feed store, padded the bottom with pillows that could survive getting wet. I'm not sure how much they would cost, but if you can't find a pool it might be an option. There is a feed store on State Street in Marysville that I know carries them.
I had a lovely fishy/birth pool that I labored in last fall. I loaned it out a few months ago and haven't gotten it back yet, but I PM'd her tonight to see if it was still around. You're welcome to borrow it if you want. I'm in South Seattle, but the woman who has it lives north of the city, I think - another MDC momma.

Let me know if you're interested, and hopefully I can get it back in time.

That'd be awesome if you get it back from her! Please let me know!

I borrowed bookwormommy's pool and I keep meaning to get it back to her.
It worked great and I'd be happy to get it back to bookwormommy so you can borrow it.
It's in the works, Kristi. Don't have your baby for a few more days!

Thanks so much. It's all quiet on the home front so far, so I think we've got a week or two.
