My DS (almost 3) has what seems to be the flu.... Though I'm starting to wonder if these are "normal" flu symptoms. It's been 3 full days from the first puke, night one he puked all night, and developed a fever for the next day and following night. After his fever has broke he hasn't been eating (just nursing and water and the occasional bowl of cereal, upon his request)

My worries are, that he's been so lethargic he'll sleep all day and night with maybe a total of 1-2 hours of awake time in 24 hours. When he is awake he can't even manage to hardly keep his head up he's so tired. Also he hasnt' pooped this whole time, and last night was up screaming that his belly hurt (help me Mom!!) I'm wondering with all this nursing, why no poop????

Please help put my mind at ease... or any suggestions or thoughts. We have been away visiting friends and our flight going home is tonight (8 hours of flying) dreading it, but really want to get him home.

Oh what a hard time to be away from home!!!

It is strange not to have any bm I think.
Have you given any SA? That may help loosen thing up.
Perhaps he's extra weary from being away from home? Vomitting can really wipe you out - as long as he's not dehydrated I'd let him sleep as much as possible.
The belly pain is worrisome - is that gone yet? Poor little fella.

Good luck on the long flight - he'll likely sleep through it and you'll all feel better bieng in your own home!

Good luck, Darlin'.

What is SA? He only puked that first night, and once the day after... so no puke in 2 days, just sleep sleep sleep. He seems to be even too tired to walk when he actually is up.

I know he is hydrated, so much nursing and his dipes are wet.

Having a sick bb is the worst.

Oh, it's the absolute pits!
Is the tummy pain gone?
SA is sodium ascorbate.
Is he eating yet?
When do you go home?
