I have a large sack of milled grits in my freezer that I'd like to use up, but I'm the only one in the family that likes them. I'm not about to spend the 45 minutes it takes to cook them to do one serving at a time. The kids love the "regular" fine white kind, and I'm wondering if I grind the milled stuff in the blender will it make them cook faster and also give them a texture more like what the kids are used to. Anyone know?
