I took a Walgreens Early Result HPT yesterday and today. Both tests were negative within the 10 minute window but looked "funny," the control window was clear but the results window stayed murky until almost the time limit. I checked 20-30 min later with both of them and there was a definite line. Not grayish or very faint like how an evaporation line is described. It is a blue dye test, though. Does it still count as an evaporation line?

The backstory is I am pretty sure I o'ed 15 days ago, and if conception happened it would have been 2 days later, so the chances are slim. I have irregular cycles as it is, anywhere from 28-36 days. I have wicked PMS right now, maybe a little bit more wicked then usual.

TIA.

In my experience the ones with the pink dye look very shady almost (when it's an evap) and not really a color. But with the blue dye tests, the evap line is straight up blue and looks like a positive line. I know this is totally not what you wanted to hear, and I hope that you take another test and it is 100% with out a doubt +++

Just ditch the blue dye tests. They suck.

Sorry, sounds like evap lines to me - the blue dye tests are tricky because they seem more prone to evaps, and it's harder to tell an evap from a BFP.
